.357 and most of the 30.06 were gone, .45 was gone, 9mm was almost gone, this BPS had the whole bottom shelf loaded with bulk .223; sales clerk said they get in a truck every other day and still can't keep up with demand. Interesting times.....

Damn. This is worse than the Klinton induced ammo and gun hoarding that I participated in. Much worse. Very interesting times.

The good thing was they had LOTS of 38S&W ammo...evidently I'm the only person around with an old WWII Smith & Wesson that fires the stuff (also known as .38/200 in England). It's an old Western round dating back to the 1870's that only changed when it went 'smokeless' in the 1890's.
