KABUL, Afghanistan – More U.S. military deaths in the last 10 months of the Afghan war than in the first five years of the conflict. More boots on the ground than in Iraq. As the U.S. military death toll in the Afghan conflict reached the 1,000 mark, a fight that has become "Obama's war" now faces its greatest challenge — a high-risk campaign to win over a hostile population in the Taliban's southern heartland. More casualties are expected when the campaign kicks into high gear this summer. I just heard this on the KSFO morning show. Yesterday Obama released one and a half billion dollars from the Stimulus bill. One million dollars went to illegal aliens living in a shanty town near Fresno to pay their rent in regular housing. The shanty town they are living in is actually better than those found in relatively nearby Tijuana. We could all get an endless supply of homeless people from Mexico who will become citizens and VOTERS if Obama and Pelsosi can pass amnesty. Aren't you glad your tax dollars are doing so much good for the people of Mexico? We can't give it all to Israel, Goldman Sachs and AIG. That would be selfish. Click for Full Text!
